Noel Street – Richard Paul Evans
Although we don’t like to skip Thanksgiving, Christmas books are already out. So, I can’t help reading at least one. I read most of Evans‘ Christmas books and his The Walk series. I think I read his Mistletoe Collection.
This is a heart-warming story about a single widow who’s white raising a biracial son back in 1975 in a small town. I admit I picked up some hints and guessed the connection. However, it was still nice to read about the blossoming friendship between the kind stranger and the young mother, and between the man and the child.
This story is about hope, love and forgiveness. Just the right ingredients for the Christmas season!
